years of hashing with Summit. "I know", he said talking to himself, "I

reply.

The Last Full Moon Hash: A perfectly dismal hash

NOTE: Don’t go to the ‘Other’ Dismal Swamp.
The
Dismal Swamp is the largest continuous wetlands in northern
Middlesex County, spanning portions of Edison, Metuchen and South
Plainfield. As the last viable ecosystem within an encroaching
urban/suburban environment, the Dismal Swamp provides natural flood
control and wildlife habitat, while its forests produce oxygen, and
its wetlands clean and purify water.
The swamp is
also home to an estimated 165 species of birds, 25 mammals, and 24
amphibian and reptile species, and the odd cadaver. Red fox, beaver,
white-tailed deer, coyote, raccoon, opossum, woodchuck, star-nosed
mole, snapping turtle, red-eared slider turtle, painted turtle, box
turtle, bullfrog, spring peeper, green frog, wood frog, red-backed
salamander, garter snake, bull snake, red-tailed hawk, Cooper's hawk,
northern cardinal, gray catbird, great horned owl, downy woodpecker,
hairy woodpecker, goldfinch, mockingbird, killdeer, great blue heron,
great egret, green heron, white-crowned heron, and catfish are among
the many species which utilize the Dismal Swamp. In addition, the
endangered lounge lizard may also be present.
